It is not strange that you must have heard about Moonscape by now, especially with the way Seascape has been handling its publicity. So far, Moonscape has made a lot of progress in terms of reach and preparation for launching. This article will be highlighting the journey of this upcoming Seascape game, as well as an introduction for the rare few that have not heard about it yet.
Moonscape is a resource management strategy game set on a futuristic moon, but with a twist to it. In this game, players must compete for limited resources in order to develop their expanding cities. Players can plunder rival cities and collaborate with friendly ones in their quest for dominance. City-building employs tried-and-true DeFi mechanics, some of which make use of NFTs. Rovers and entire cities can be converted into NFTs and traded and sold on the open market.
Moonscape, being the first game on Moonbeam, introduces a new way for fans and enthusiasts to participate in the DeFi and NFT economies. This game includes the following features:

Shortly after Seascape announced the game, they went a step further in the form of token generation. The Moonscape token, or MSCP, was created on December 1st, 2021, and it was a historic moment for Seascape. On that date, winners of the Lighthouse IDO received their MSCP tokens via airdrop directly to their wallets, and the token has since then been available on MOVR and BSC. What’s more, you can actually trade MSCP on SeaDex and PancakeSwap!
Staking options are included with the Moonscape token too. There has been a fantastic LP token staking that has been going on for months that you do not want to miss out on! Seacsape also continued on its path to create awareness for the game by organising an NFT Sale.
This is yet another NFT sale that took the Seascape ecosystem by storm. The sale included 155 NFTs in total, with the sale divided into five separate sessions based on NFT groupings. The NFTs were divided into Legendary, Epic, Rare, Special, and Common categories. The NFTs were also ranked according to their rarity level, as implied by their names, with Legendary being the most rare and Common being the least. The sale began on January 28th and lasted until February 4th, when the Common City NFTs were sold out.
