The world has been overthrown by the excessive ultimatum of capitalism — a centralized system where wealth is so played by people that cash ends up in the hands of the rich who, by the way, get wealthier… and out of the hands of the poor who get poorer.

Decentralization of assets is one of the ways of solving this global dilemma, via decentralized physical infrastructure networks. DePINs tackle capitalism’s excesses by democratizing control of assets, boosting resilience, cutting down costs, fostering innovation, and promoting sustainability.

This brings us to the honorable mention of the peaq Network, a blockchain protocol specifically tailored for DePINs, offering a range of modular functions to tokenize vehicles, robots, and other devices for various decentralized applications. These dApps include — amongst others — shared mobility services, and even decentralized video platforms akin to YouTube.

peaq’s Implementation of DePINs

Via peaq’s DePIN system, vehicles equipped with sensors and connected to the peaq Network can autonomously navigate and deliver goods.

Each vehicle is tokenized, meaning it has a digital representation on the blockchain. These tokens can represent ownership, access rights, or other attributes of the vehicle.

Similarly, in a smart factory, machines and equipment can be tokenized via peaq, enabling them to interact with each other autonomously, optimizing production processes and reducing downtime.

Shared mobility services, such as ride-sharing or bike-sharing platforms, can also benefit from DePINs on the peaq Network. Vehicles can be tokenized to enable secure access and payment mechanisms, creating a seamless and efficient transportation network.

Decentralized video platforms can utilize DePINs on the peaq Network to enable content creators to own and monetize their content directly, without relying on centralized platforms. Viewers can also be rewarded for engaging with content, creating a more democratic and inclusive content ecosystem.

peaq’s implementation of DePINs has the potential to address modern capitalist problems by decentralizing ownership and governance. This empowers individuals to earn from the network’s activities, fostering a more equitable distribution of wealth and resources.

By leveraging blockchain technology, peaq Network ensures transparency and security, mitigating issues of trust and accountability that can arise in traditional centralized systems.

So, with all of these facts in mind, we will be looking at proofs as to how peaq is working with not just themselves but with other protocols with somewhat similar goals to attain decentralization of assets within the peaq blockchain.

XMAQUINA x Farmsent x ELOOP

XMAQUINA stands as the pioneer of autonomous robot DePINs, offering a platform where individuals can earn while tokenized autonomous robots deliver services to people and machines. With projections indicating that 800 million jobs could be lost to automation by 2030, XMAQUINA aims to ensure that as automation progresses, everyone benefits.

Robotation

XMAQUINA unveiled the world’s first tokenized autonomous robo-cafe on the peaq network, and the first to witness this were attendees at a Token2049 conference held in Dubai. Revenues generated from the Token2049 initiative were distributed among demo pool token holders, paid out in $KREST, the main token of krest Network, peaq’s sister network.

The XMAQUINA protocol offers composability with other DePINs and machines in the peaq ecosystem, as demonstrated by partnerships with ELOOP and Farmsent. This move aligns with XMAQUINA’s vision of ensuring that people benefit from automation rather than fear it.

As the co-founder and CEO of XMAQUINA, Mauricio Zollikerputs it, “the most equitable way of moving forward with automation is to let everyone have a stake in it,” and XMAQUINA is leading the way in this regard within the peaq ecosystem.

Teslas!!!

Meanwhile, ELOOP has integrated 100 Teslas into its car-sharing fleet, connecting them to the peaqosystem and the wider Web3 via peaq IDs.

The integration of Teslas into peaq demonstrates the effectiveness of the decentralized physical infrastructure network (DePIN) model — even for high-value assets like Teslas, and opens up new possibilities for the community, enabling almost 100,000 registered users to drive Teslas via a Web3 car-sharing app on peaq and earn from it.

This move increases activity and liquidity on the network, providing more opportunities for users to earn rewards. Differing from traditional web2 car-sharing apps by democratizing the process, it allows anyone to buy tokens that reward holders with revenue shares generated by the Teslas.

Empowering Farmers

Farmsent has partnered with peaq Network to bring its Web3 marketplace and DePIN for tracking farmer product supply chains to the peaq ecosystem.

Farmsent aims to empower farmers by eliminating centralized middlemen, increasing transparency, and reducing costs for everyone involved.

The integration will leverage self-sovereign peaq IDs for identity management and deploy smart contracts on peaq to power Farmsent’s global food traceability system.

What Partnering with peaq Benefits All Four Platforms

XMAQUINA chose to build on peaq for several reasons, including launching its token natively on the platform, leveraging peaq IDs for autonomous robots, utilizing peaq’s Modular DePIN Functions, and setting up Machine Pools.

The integration of peaq IDs and other core modular DePIN functions will play a crucial role in ELOOP’s goals, giving Teslas more autonomy to transact and distribute user token rewards.

The collaboration between peaq and Farmsent benefits both platforms, with Farmsent gaining access to peaq’s layer-1 blockchain infrastructure and Modular DePIN Functions, while peaq expands its ecosystem with a real-world use case that addresses the challenges in the global food market.

A New Era

The partnerships between peaq and various platforms are significant steps in the practical application of blockchain technology in solving real-world problems, such as wealth inequality, automation, and transparency in supply chains.

I believe that these partnerships highlight the potential of DePINs to revolutionize web2-run industries like transportation, agriculture, content creation, and manufacturing. A time is drawing near, where DePINs are seamlessly integrated into our daily lives to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and promote sustainability.

However, challenges such as regulatory hurdles and technological limitations must be addressed for DePINs to reach their full potential. But! Overall, the collaboration between peaq and these platforms mark the beginning of a new era of decentralized innovation, where the benefits of technology are shared more equitably among all participants.

The future’s bright, dazzling.
