This is just a friendly reminder that Seascape is still a gaming platform based on DeFi and NFT economies. Seascape lowers the bar of complexity associated with DeFi and crypto in general by turning the core concepts of DeFi into easy-to-access games. Seascape is definitely changing the way the world thinks about gaming, with a focus on excellent quality and proper incentives for both players and developers. By consistently ranking as one of the top brands in DeFi gaming across multiple networks, Seascape has established itself as one of the modern architects of DeFi gaming, also widely known as GameFi. One of the pillars of their success was the launch of Scapes, their initial series of original NFTs, as actual financial assets.

Now, this top-shelf gaming platform has made another major move to further solidify its status as one of the premier brands when it comes to DeFi gaming. Seascape is expanding its game types and genres by partnering with the prominent game company BigBang, and bringing more opportunities to play-to-earn to a wider audience than ever before.

BigBang is a company specialising in the game and entertainment industries, comprised of highly experienced game industry members. They have so far created and operated a number of applications and browser games, and they are also actively involved in NFT games. BigBang, best known for titles such as Monque, Sengoku Chronicles, Demon Field, and the highly anticipated Sky Frontier, is planning to continue its mission to bring excellent games to newer, more exciting audiences. This year marks their first foray into NFTs and gaming, with an emphasis on broadening the horizons of gaming experience globally.

As per the announcement, these two teams will be working to bring a number of new interactive experiences to fans, taking on new worlds and time periods, each with their own personality. The partnership’s objective will be to introduce new styles of play and interactivity with new art, characters, and Gamefi elements throughout the year 2022.

BigBang CEO Atsushi Kitagawa had this to say about the partnership, “We have been focusing on blockchain games and P2E game development for the past year, and are currently developing game logic to adapt a variety of game genres, including MMORPGs, to P2E. Together with Seascape we want to provide a new user experience. Creating games using tokens and NFTs is a fun challenge and we look forward to developing a fun and exciting way to create Play-To-Earn games!”

The CEO and Co-founder of Seascape Network, Nicky Li, also had only good words about the partnership: “Seascape is proud and excited to partner with BIGBANG. We look forward to working together to bring excellent Japanese-style game products and NFT series to gamers worldwide, enriching Seascape’s platform offerings while bringing more play to earn opportunities to fans of Gamefi.”

With this collaboration, Seascape hopes to attract more Japanese gamers. There are still many unexplored areas in the play-to-earn universe, including NFTs, which is another angle that BIGBANG and Seascape will collaborate to develop. Pushing NFTs to realize their true potential as financial assets is a fundamental goal of Seascape’s second phase, so this partnership is a natural fit.
